Apple IPad 2 Review
There are five obvious differences between the new release and its original incarnation. Consumer feedback has been listened to, and changes have been made that should be attractive to all gadget fans.
The new version has both back and front facing cameras. The front device can capture both still photos as well as video, whereas as the back facing camera can only be used to shoot video, albeit 720p High Definition video. Having two cameras is an obvious advantage, you can make video calls without worrying about your positioning.
Another discernible change is in the size. It is thirty three per cent thinner than the previous model, therefore it is easier to hold and carry. It can be used for much longer periods without suffering discomfort
As expected, Apple have boosted the processing power of their new slate PC considerably. If you feel that the original release was a bit slow to respond to commands, you will be happy to discover that this version features a state of the art dual core A5 processor, as well as 512MB RAM. The speed at which applications open and run is noticeably different. The extra power has also allowed for the new iPad to be able to handle a greater amount of applications simultaneously. The graphics have also been enhanced, no longer are jerky movements a problem.
To summarize, again the benchmark has been raised. The new iPad is far superior to all similar gadgets in terms of ease of use, available applications, and processing power.
